How Your Wedding Dress Can Help Women with Cancer

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re thinking of all the women in our lives that we call survivors.

Chances are you probably know someone who has been affected by this disease — maybe it was your neighbor, your friend, your sister or your even your mother. We all know how strong these women are, and here at Adorned Bridal, we wanted to find a way to give back to them.

That’s why we partnered with Brides Against Breast Cancer. Through Brides Against Breast Cancer (BABC), you can donate your gently-used wedding dress to benefit early-detection breast cancer education. BABC will resell it, giving it new life with a happy bride while also raising funds that raise awareness for this disease that affects every 1 in 7 women.

Donated gowns must meet the following criteria:  NO OLDER than 5 years old

Cleaned & In Wearable Condition

*BHLDN and David’s Bridal designers not accepted*

All you have to do to participate is drop off your gently-used wedding dress at our shop during business hours — that’s it! You can even get a donation receipt for your taxes.

By donating your dress you’ll be clearing out some closet space, participating in sustainable fashion AND helping raise awareness for breast cancer. Sounds like a win/win to us!

Give your dress new life and give a woman facing breast cancer by participating in Brides Against Breast Cancer with Adorned Bridal!
