Start saving now!
Prom might seem far away, but it’ll be here before you know it. Start saving now so you can be ready when those purchases pop up — and your wallet will thank you for it! You don’t need to go wild, but maybe start putting a few bucks in the bank every week or so. For example, we’d skip the Starbucks line and opt for some homemade coffee. It might not seem like a lot, but after doing it for a few months you’ll be amazed at how much cash you’ve saved!
Earn some extra dough!
You don’t have to get a part-time job, but you can always start a little side hustle to help pay for prom. Pick up a babysitting gig for your neighbors kiddos, or maybe clear out your closet and start selling your old clothes on an app like Depop or Poshmark, or at a local consignment store! There’s money at your fingertips — you just have to search it out.
